The Unalom

A deep seated desire to find a symbol that would without words tell of it’s meaning, brought me about twenty years ago to the Unalom. A powerful symbol of a spiralling journey outwards from its centre.

In about all cultures spirals mean continuation of life. Found throughout the universe in plants, in sacred geomitry, in galaxies: wherever we find life we find spirals.

In this unalom symbol, out of that spiral something breaks free and seems to find it’s way through moving from left to right and back towards a zero still point into infinity.

A super simple and very recognizable symbol, even by just looking at it we get a sense of the spiritual journey we are all on (even if we fool ourselves into believing we are not).
